Wanderlust

My husband and I will be in Italy until late 2014, so we decided to make a list of alllllll the places we'd like to see before we leave.
our "newlywed map"
Besides being organized by country, the list really isn't in any particular order, and I'll add places to it frequently. It's long and kinda vague sometimes, but I'm okay with that. I also know I may not get to cross them all off by the time we leave, but at least it's a starting off point. A girl can dream, right?

Are there any other cities we should step foot in, festivals we have to attend, or things we need to see? Leave a comment with your suggestions so I can add to the list!

  1. You should add Slovenia to the list. It's an awesome country. Lots of history, beautiful scenery, cheap and delish food. What's not to like?

  2. Dachau Concentration Camp in Munich
Regensburg Thurns und Taxis (an actual princess still lives there)
Nurnberg Marketplatz (and Nurnberg in general, lots to do there)

  3. Be sure not to eat prior to Dachau if you do go, and I had a blast at Baden Baden in Germany. I also see that you are very refined, but if you are up for some outdoor adventure - you need to visit Interlaken, Switzerland. My wife and I went whitewater rafting and spelunking. I also had the best time with the nomadic 19-24 yr olds that were living what we were just getting a taste of that summer. I really appreciate your need to blog and share. It is a refreshing time for me to read this and relive times before my wife and I had family responsibilities - Thank you.

  4. I have a huge list of desires. I'm sure we won't get to them all, especially since we've already been here six months and have only recently ventured outside Heidelberg. I checked out Interlaken mentioned above and think canyoning in Grimsel or Chli Schliere would be awesome. My personal top list is Santorini, Paris, Venice, Rome, but I have a lot more that I'd really like to see and even more that would just be cool if we get the chance. Maybe I should make a page for them on my blog someday. I have Pinterest boards but they're kind of hectic.
